RIVERFRONT OASIS
Set in a pristine Andean valley on the banks of its magnificent eponymous river, Rio Palena Lodge is an ultimate Patagonian adventure retreat. The riverfront oasis features an array of angling opportunities, as the lodge’s location is famous for large, wild, brown, and rainbow trout. The adventure activities on offer ensure you experience the best of Patagonia’s Los Lagos region.
When you’re not exploring, relax in comfort and style. The Rio Palena Lodge features seven en suite bedrooms, each with a stunning river view. A private chef prepares breakfasts each morning and savoury lunches, which will be provided to you at the riverside each afternoon. On your return, you can kick back on the deck overlooking the tranquil river while sipping a fine Chilean wine or Pisco Sour. Or unwind with a soak or steam in the wood-fired hot tubs and sauna. For dinner, enjoy the finest local beef, homemade pasta, grilled salmon, and locally grown produce in the cosy dining room, or indulge in a special Chilean asado, a traditional barbecue paired with fine wines.
Rio Palena Lodge also offers a heli-ski season in late September and October, the surrounding Andes mountains creating the perfect alpine ski terrain during these months.
