San Diego

San Diego is a major city to the south of Los Angeles where the USA borders Mexico. It basks in a great year round climate, its summer heat moderated by the sea breezes and the opportunity to hit one of its broad sandy beaches.

Aside from the Zoo, which is located in the enormous Balboa Park, San Diego has a SeaWorld and a Safari Park, plus a legacy of its Spanish Mexican heritage. Add a flourishing number of craft breweries, boats trips, rides on the famous Giant Dipper roller coaster in Belmont Park, visits to the San Diego Museum of Art, the nightlife in the restored Gaslamp District and you’ll likely to find you should have given San Diego more time.
