ABOUT THE ITINERARY
Embrace the many charms of New Brunswick on our exciting self-drive holiday itinerary, taking in the untamed Bay of Fundy, the picturesque seaside town of St Andrews and the cultural highlights of Fredericton.
It may be the lesser known of the three Maritimes provinces, but New Brunswick is rich in character and wild scenery, and has so much to offer the willing traveller. You will start your luxury Canada holiday in Shediac, a pretty coastal settlement, but soon take off in your own vehicle to explore what else this enchanting region has to offer.
You will walk along the ocean floor in the Bay of Fundy, where tremendous tidal waves measure up to 15 metres, and dine on delicious seafood in the ‘lobster capital of the world’. You’ll discover the colourful history of places like Saint John and St Andrews by the Sea, visit Campobello Island and have time to spare for celebrated museums and incredible whale watching.
SHEDIAC
Fly to Halifax. Collect your hire car and check into your hotel situated in the heart of downtown Shediac, where your journey begins. This picturesque coastal town boasts the title of the ‘lobster capital of the world’, so is the perfect place to indulge in some fine seafood. You can take a stroll along Parlee Beach, while your hotel is conveniently located just steps from the town’s cultural and historical landmarks.
