ABOUT THE ITINERARY
You begin in Kathmandu, a fascinating city packed with ancient temples, palaces and stupas. Wander the colourful streets and admire the rows of intricately carved traditional houses. Continue to Pokhara Valley in the Nepalese Himalayas to stay in a remote mountain lodge surrounded by breathtaking scenery.
Your journey then takes you to Chitwan National Park where you’ll have the opportunity to spot rare and unique wildlife on jeep safaris, jungle walks and river boat excursions.
Finally, return to Kathmandu via the medieval Newar town of Bhaktapur.

ARRIVE IN KATHMANDU
On arrival in Kathmandu, you’ll be taken to your hotel, nestled in the heart of the city.
During your time in Kathmandu, enjoy a guided tour of this vibrant city, taking in famous sights like the sacred and UNESCO-listed Pashupatinath Temple. Also stop by the hill-top ‘Monkey Temple’, one of the oldest shrines in the world, and take a rickshaw ride around the historic Durbar Square. Finish your time in Kathmandu with some retail therapy in the shopping district of Thamel.

POKHARA
Today you will fly to Pokhara, a laidback city sprawled along the banks of Phewa Lake. Your lodge sits atop a hilltop ridge, affording you spectacular views of the valley and snow-topped mountains beyond. You’ll be perfectly based to explore nearby hiking trails, from scenic ridge-top walks through the Annapurna Mountains to more leisurely strolls in the surrounding hills. You’ll also have time for picnics in picturesque locations and exploring the local area.

CHITWAN NATIONAL PARK
Bid goodbye to Pokhara and catch a flight to Bharatpur. You’ll be met and transferred to your accommodation on the outskirts of Chitwan National Park, Nepal’s most popular wildlife sanctuary and a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
During your stay, you’ll have the opportunity to enjoy jeep safaris and excursions on the Rapti River in search of one-horned rhinoceros, Bengal tigers, leopards, sloth bears and various species of deer and monkey. You’ll also set out on exciting jungle walks with elephants, and birdwatching tours alongside the resort’s experienced guides.

POKHARA – KATHMANDU
Today you will fly back to Kathmandu for a final night in the capital. After lunch in a local restaurant, you will set off to discover Bhaktapur, an ancient Newar town located in the eastern corner of the Kathmandu Valley. Thanks to its rich culture, temples and intricate wood, metal and stone artwork, the city has been declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

FLY HOME
Your Nepal adventure comes to an end. You’ll be transferred to the airport for your international flight.
