ABOUT THE ITINERARY
Kenya, one of the best African safari destinations and infamous for its incredible wildlife, pairs beautifully with a stay on the sun-kissed shores of Zanzibar, where you can while away the hours snorkelling in clear waters and dozing in the shade of palm trees.
After spending a night in Nairobi, your holiday begins in what is one of Africa’s most legendary wilderness areas. A safari in the Maasai Mara, bordered in the west by the Oloololo escarpment and in the east by the Ngama Hills, showcases a spectacular array of biodiversity, with lion, elephant, cheetah, giraffe and an abundance of colourful birds found here. It’s also the place to observe one of the most awe-inspiring wildlife spectacles on earth – the Great Wildebeest Migration.
After you’ll be taken by light aircraft to spend five nights in a chic, ocean-side resort on the northern coast of Zanzibar. Here you’ll have direct access to a private beach stretching for 300 metres and lapped by the shimmering waters of the Indian Ocean.
NAIROBI
Upon arrival in Nairobi, you will be met and privately transferred to your contemporary hotel. Take the time to relax in your room or make use of the outdoor swimming pool.

MAASAI MARA
Today the adventure really begins. Another private transfer brings you to Wilson Airport where you will catch a scheduled light aircraft flight to the Mara, one of the world’s greatest destinations to watch big game. You will be met at the airstrip and transferred to your camp, wonderfully situated near the confluence of the Mara and Talek Rivers. It also sits on the route of the annual migration of over one million wildebeest and zebra from the Serengeti – one of nature’s greatest spectacles.
Elephants, lion, rhino, Thomson’s gazelle, cheetah, wild dogs, giraffe, leopards and several species of primate all make a home for themselves in this vast and unfenced wilderness. Morning and evening game drives led by knowledgeable guides offer incredibly up-close encounters with the wildlife. Trips to nearby villages are a chance to immerse yourself in the local culture and a hot-air balloon flight over the Mara’s endless plains is sure to take your breath away.

ZANZIBAR
This morning a light aircraft flight will whisk you away for a few days of peaceful relaxation on the golden shores of Zanzibar. Staying in a stylish, modern resort on the northwest coast of the archipelago, you will find infinite opportunities to relax.
In addition to a beautiful infinity pool, wellness spa, yoga area and luxuriant gardens, you’ll find the calm, azure waters that lap Kendwa beach are ideal for swimming in. Not forgetting private dinners on the beach, Swahili cooking classes and fabulous snorkelling and scuba diving opportunities. A wonderful finale.
Stay: Five nights in a garden bungalow at Zuri Zanzibar – half board
