“Grande Dame of Exploration Cruising”
Dubbed the “Grande Dame of Exploration Cruising”, this pioneering vessel was purpose-built for polar adventure.
Ever since it was brought to life in a Finland shipyard in 1991, the Heritage Adventurer has been setting the standard for expedition travel into some of the world’s most remote corners. The vessel has an impressive history of polar exploration, with 14 Zodiacs to help intrepid explorers get deep into the polar waters. Unmatched stability, coupled with superior speed and an ice-strengthened hull allows the Heritage Adventurer to continue into the ice when others simply cannot.
Though originally designed to accommodate 184, today the vessel welcomes just 140 expeditioners to ensure each enjoys an exclusive experience. Accommodation is in stylish cabins spanning four decks, whilst spacious outer decks provide panoramic viewing platforms for wildlife watching, birding and drinking in the spectacular seascapes.
You’re welcome to visit the captain and crew on the bridge, and join the onboard team of naturalists, botanists, historians and experts as they interpret the natural and human history discovered during each voyage. And should you require a little R&R, there’s a library, salt water plunge pool, hot water jacuzzi, Finnish sauna and steam room to indulge in.
