BRINGS LIFE TO THE WILD
John’s Camp lies in the shade of mahogany trees close to the Zambezi River, a mighty waterway that brings life to the wild and incredibly beautiful Mana Pools National Park.
Here, you’ll be able to track big game on foot alongside some of the best guides in the country, an incredible opportunity to walk amongst huge African elephants, admire giraffes up close and gaze at lazing lions.
Game drives and land-based tiger fishing are also on the menu, whilst the bird watching is phenomenal with over 400 different species to find. You can even take a private tour of the National Park headquarters, a chance to meet the hardworking rangers and learn more about the work they do.
Accommodation comprises just six ensuite Meru-style tents which allow the camp to deliver a truly intimate, personalised experience. Each tent is spaced out along a floodplain neighbouring the Zambezi River, with an alfresco dining area placed in the centre. You can even spend the night under the stars on the camp’s dedicated sleep-out platform to feel even closer to the African bush. The camp operates seasonally and is only open in the dry season between May and mid-November each year.
