ABOUT THE ITINERARY
After spending a night in the capital, Managua, you will set off for Calala Island where you can happily fill your days basking in the sunshine and snorkelling alongside dazzling marine life. This is followed by a stay at Nekupe, a five-star retreat perfectly catered towards the outdoor enthusiast. You will be just 30 minutes from Granada, but will feel a world away in the midst of Nicaragua’s wild Pacific countryside. You’ll visit active volcanoes, discover unique plants and go zip-lining through the treetops.
There’s also time to explore the many attractions of Grenada, from its multi-coloured town houses to the Inglesia la Merced with its beautiful baroque exterior and elegant paintings. And where better to finish than on the Emerald Coast, where you will have untouched white beaches, turquoise waters, nature trails and a variety of water sports at your fingertips.
