ABOUT THE ITINERARY
This two-week luxury holiday to Kenya showcases the very best of Kenya’s wilderness and wildlife, from the exclusive Lewa Downs to the legendary plains of the Maasai Mara. You’ll stay in fabulously-located camps and lodges, and round off with a glorious stay on Diani Beach.
Landing in Nairobi, a light aircraft flight will whisk you away to the private Lewa Wildlife Conservancy where you can expect some of the finest game viewing in East Africa. The region puts on a staggering display of wildlife, including the world’s largest concentration of Grévy’s zebra who coexist alongside big cats, elephants and hundreds of birds.
Breathtaking encounters with Kenya’s wildlife continue in the Masai Mara, one of Africa’s most iconic safari regions. Sleeping under canvas, you can fill your days with exciting game drives, unforgettable bush walks and sensational hot air balloon safaris. And how better to end your ultimate Kenyan holiday than on the white sands of Diani Beach, lapped by the warm waters of the Indian Ocean.
NAIROBI
Arrive in Kenya’s capital. You will be met and transferred by private vehicle to Hemingways Nairobi, a sophisticated boutique hotel overlooking the Ngong Hills.

LEWA DOWNS
Today you will be transferred to Nairobi Wilson where a light aircraft flight will be waiting to take you to the Lewa Wildlife Conservancy, also known as Lewa Downs. Here you can expect to find an incredibly diverse array of wildlife, including over 70 types of mammal such as elephant, Grevy’s zebra, buffalo, greater kudu, oryx, lion, leopard and cheetah. It’s also one of the few places where you can see both black and white rhino at the same location, who reside here in roughly equal numbers.
Enjoy a three-night stay in a wonderfully intimate lodge overlooking a natural waterhole – where wildlife are frequent visitors. During your stay expert guides will lead you on a variety of excursions, from bush walks and game drives to spectacular helicopter trips. Don’t miss out on a visit to the nearby Masai community for a fascinating insight into the traditions and culture of the local people.

MASAI MARA
Another flight takes you to one of the world’s most revered game watching regions – the Masai Mara. You’ll be staying at the heart of the Olare Orok Conservancy, sleeping under canvas in a luxury tented camp. As well as being one of the best places to see Kenya’s big cats, you can also expect encounters with spotted hyena, giraffe, gazelle, hippo and countless zebra and wildebeest. Bird watchers will have hundreds of species to look out for, whilst the thrilling Great Wildebeest Migration can also be observed here.
You’ll have a choice of how you follow the wildlife – from day and night drives to bush walks and balloon safaris. Is there any experience more unforgettable than soaring over huge herds of wildebeest grazing across the great expanse of the Masai Mara Game Reserve?

DIANI BEACH
After the drama of the Mara comes the peace and serenity of Diani Beach and one of the finest villas on the Kenyan Coast. Those who wish to relax will find a picture-perfect beach to laze on as well as a stunning cliff-edge swimming pool.
On the other hand, those interested in keeping active will be delighted with the range of activities on offer. These include scuba diving, deep sea fishing and bird watching in the mangroves, whilst excursions to Funzi Island and Kisite Marine National Park can also be arranged.
Stay: Five nights at Alfajiri Beach Villa – full board
FLY HOME
Flying back to Nairobi, you will enjoy dinner at a local restaurant before heading to the airport in time to board your flight back home.
